The setup: Even though victories for the Cubs and White Sox this season might be few and far between, it's always fun to celebrate in a unique way. North Side fans have their way, and South Side die-hards have theirs.
So which is the better postgame tradition: Singing "Go Cubs Go" at Wrigley or the fireworks at the Cell?

SINGING
OK, fine. I will concede that "Go Cubs Go" is a dorky song. It's no "Seven Nation Army," that's for sure. But after nine innings, four beers and two hot dogs, there's nothing finer than engaging in a rousing sing-along with 40,000 of your closest friends, the breeze off Lake Michigan sweeping up into the bleachers as you wait for the stadium to empty. Fireworks are exciting-when you're a kid or it's the Fourth of July-but how often do you get to drunkenly belt out a tune at the top of your lungs? I rest my case.

FIREWORKS
Fireworks don't sing off-key. Fireworks won't accidentally slosh beer all over you during the last few overenthusiastic notes. The White Sox tradition of celebrating a win with fireworks is the superior tradition, no question. While you might be able to hear the melody of "Go, Cubs, Go!" a block away from Wrigley, you can hear the booming sound of pyrotechnics for a mile around the Cell. It's like the Fourth of July every time the Sox secure a victory!
